Youth Therapy (ages 14-18)
Therapy for youth and young adults is very similar to adolescents. There is a little edge closer to adulthood giving them more speaking and independence in their lives. It is my job to reflect this developmental stage in session. At this age, parents and guardians and I can work together to give them the language and support we all need for a rich emotional life. As a therapist trained in play therapy, I believe we all need the opportunity and language to describe our feelings in a healthy way. Or we wish we could, but something holds many adults back. We can give our young people options and tools to support them in their adulthood.
